Lisa Valadie

Paramedic/Product Designer

Lisa Valadie has been in EMS since 1987 and received her paramedic status in 1989. She has been a child passenger safety tech instructor since 1999. She teaches new parents how to use their car seat correctly.She has also been a lobbyist for the primary seat belt bill and other safety issues.She instructs other emergency personnel on how to safely transport kids and how
to better assess pediatric trauma.

Lisa received the prestigious EMT-Paramedic of the Year award in 2005. (Click here for more info on this award.) She was also runner up in the Rosecrans Award last year (2005) at EMS Today.

Residing in Mississippi with her husband Charles, this new product designer has 4 children and 1 granddaughter.
